The Committee of Suffolk Poetry Society cordially invites members to our Annual General Meeting at 2pm on Sunday 12th March 2017 at St John’s Church Hall, St John’s Street, Woodbridge IP12 1ED. This is an important meeting which gives you the chance to express your opinions; your vote depends on your subscription being paid.
There is some street parking near St John’s Church Hall and a car park at the bottom of New Street, a short distance away.
Refreshments will be available and small contributions of cakes, biscuits or savouries would be welcome. Proceedings will end by 5pm at the latest.
We always finish our AGM with a short poetry reading. This year, the theme is What lies beneath and could embrace subject matter ranging from winter bulbs to a flood-wrecked Dunwich. Get your thinking caps on and bring a poem (no longer than 30 lines) to share. We look forward to seeing you.
