LAST MINUTE REMINDER
As part of the Waveney and Blyth ‘Walk, Listen, Write, Dance, Sea, Eat, Create’ programme SPS are leading three walks in the Waveney/Blyth Valley area.
On Tuesday 23rd August there will be an all day event starting at 10am and finishing at 4pm. In the morning we will walk part the Sculpture Trail at the River Waveney Study Centre and hear poems by local and poets and old favourites. In the afternoon there will be a workshop to produce short poems to create a Poet Tree as part for the Trail. Participants will have access to the whole trail. Cost £12/15
On Thursday 25th Beth Soule, Sue Mobbs and Ivor Murrell will be reading Beth’s sequence of poems about Boudicca at various points on part of the Boudicca Way starting at IP21 4HD (near Diss Business Centre) 2pm- 4.30pm. Cost £5/6 (about a 2 mile stroll).
On Friday 16th September Ivor Murrell and Melinda Appleby will lead a 4 mile walk and workshop in the Blyth Estuary £10/8, 10am-4pm.
Packed lunches needed for both full day events.
