Magic, modernity and martyrdom:
an introduction to the life and work of Federico García Lorca

Catherine Dell will be talking about the life and work of Federico García Lorca (1989-1936) whose assasination, at the start of the Spanish Civil War, brutally curtailed his career as Spain's greatest twentieth-century poet and playwright.

The event, hosted by the Essex Poetry and Prose Society, begins at 3 pm at the Old Meeting House, Stebbing on Sunday 27th May.
